François Paquet

As Managing Director, François Paquet leads the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition and its advocacy outreach, with the support of the Coalition members, to scale renewable hydrogen in Europe. Belgian-national, François has twelve years of experience in EU Public Affairs, industry interest representation and EU association management in Brussels. His fields of expertise include energy, climate change, resource efficiency and circular economy. François holds an MA degree in Business from the Louvain School of Management (Belgium) and an Executive MA degree in Public Affairs and Advocacy (European Institute for Advanced Studies in Lobbying/Strasbourg University). He speaks English and French.

Arthur Daemers

Arthur Daemers is the EU Policy Manager of the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition. He is responsible for the Coalition's advocacy towards policymakers on all files including financing, industrial strategy and infrastructure topics. Before this, Arthur worked for more than two years at SolarPower Europe. He holds a BA in History, Politics and Economics from University College London (UCL) as well as an Msc in European Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Studies (LSE).

Eleanor Mee

Eleanor is the Communications Manager at the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition. She is responsible for the coalition’s external communications and for managing press and media relations. Together with Louise, she manages the coalition’s social media and marketing channels, and she works with the policy team to design and implement campaigns to promote the work of the coalition and its community. Eleanor is a passionate communicator with diverse professional experience in communications, membership engagement, and customer service. She holds an MSc in Modern English Literature from the University of Edinburgh and a BA International in English and French from the University College Dublin (UCD).

Louise Combret

Louise is the Policy and Communications Officer at the Renewable Hydrogen Coalition. Being very committed to tackling climate change, she has gained experience in European affairs during her time at the European Commission (DG CLIMA) where she learned about EU climate policy and worked on the release of the Fit for 55 Package, implementing the EU’s new increased climate target for 2030. Louise holds an MA degree in International Law and International Politics from Sciences Po Bordeaux (France) and Sherbrooke University (Canada). She speaks French, English and Spanish.

Dries Acke

Dries Acke is SolarPower Europe's Deputy CEO, and is responsible for the policy work of the association. He joined SolarPower Europe from the European Climate Foundation, where he was director of the energy programme for over a decade. Previously, he worked at Apple Inc., in the EMEA public affairs department. Dries holds a master’s degree in contemporary history from the Catholic University of Brussels and Leuven, Belgium, and a post-graduate degree in international relations from the Karl-Rüprecht University in Heidelberg, Germany.

Pierre Tardieu

Pierre Tardieu is Chief Policy Officer at WindEurope. He runs WindEurope’s Policy Department covering advocacy, market intelligence and stakeholder engagement. Pierre joined WindEurope in 2011 and has a more than decade of experience shaping European Climate and Energy policy. He holds degrees from College of Europe, Paris Catholic Institute and Strasbourg Institute of Political Science.
